Giving Credit on websites and blogs

The internet has grown into a place for content sharing and collaboration. Giving a photo credit is unquestionably imperative when using in traditional print media to online social media. The photographer not only appreciates it and of course adding the hyperlink to the photographer’s website is even better. So…in keeping with giving credit on website and blogs I would like to thank and give credit to Victor Samuel Photography who provided us with his beautiful photos of Welcome to Napa Valley Sign and our infamous “Crusher Man”. Napa Valley’s Version of Hollywood Sign

How many of you have taken photo’s in front of the famous “Welcome to the Napa Valley” sign on St. Helena Highway? The welcome signs—one near St. Helena, one near Calistoga—are Napa’s version of the “Hollywood Sign”. If you happen to drive by one of these signs please slow down and be careful. It’s become a popular place for people to randomly pull over to get a photo, run across the busy road or many making illegal u-turns or slow down and hang out the window taking photos.
Another popular spot to take photos is the Grape Crusher statue— it’s on a hill overlooking Highway 29 and signals your arrival into The Napa Valley. Did you know that there is an actual Crusher Wine District where the crusher man is located? Create in 2013, it’s not an official AVA…yet. The district is an urban winemaking growing region. If you visiting Crusher man maybe take the time to visit a few wineries as well. By appointment only. www.crusherwinedistrict.com.
